Mission Statement

The main purpose of the library is to support the academic pursuits of all students and faculty through the provision of quality service, instruction and the timely acquisition of resources pertinent to the overall college curriculum in accordance with the mission, values, and goals of the College.

The Callahan Library

The Callahan Library, named in memory of Sister Virginia Therese Callahan, the first Vice–President and Dean of the Suffolk Campus, opened in the Fall of 1989.

Current holdings include books, journals, videos, DVDs, audiotapes, etc.  A curriculum collection, relevant to teaching, is maintained and updated on a regular basis.

Patrons have acce

ss to the Internet and numerous online academic databases.  A fully automated library system, Voyager, ensures the efficient retrieval and management of all library resources.
